I’m sure you’ve seen the true story movie ’Boy Erased’. There are numerous states that outlaw transference practices. I know that Texas is one state that still accepts this. I get so angry when I watch that movie on how the boy’s father would not accept his son as who he was and that it looked bad to the church and the father’s fear of how the church would look as him as an athletic and religious leader in his community.
